When you give to American Jewish University, American Jewish University gives back to you.

According to Jewish law, the highest form of tzedakah is giving to a needy recipient in order that he or she may become self-supporting. When the individual is economically self-sufficient, he or she then returns the gift by making a difference in the community in which we live.

At AJU, student scholarships are a perfect example of tzedakah that gives back. Your dollars provide scholarships to 90% of our undergraduate and graduate students who receive need-based financial aid. This means that dedicated, deserving and diverse students can enroll in our world-class academic programs regardless of their financial status. Upon graduation, AJU students enter careers in education, health care, non-profit business and other service-oriented professions, enhancing our lives and the lives of our children and grandchildren.

Whether your interests are AJU’s Scholarship Fund or our many capital expansion projects…whether your dollars go to the President’s or Patron’s Societies or you designate a gift to a certain academic program,… please contact Nadine Zysman, Director of Development, at 310.440.1521 or nzysman@ajula.edu.

It takes countless members of our community to sustain the university as we work to strengthen the Jewish community and the world-at-large.

We are counting on you.
